Gunfight Near the O.K. Corral

The place was Tombstone, Arizona Territory. The time was Wednesday afternoon, October 26, 1881 and the setting was a vacant lot to the rear of the OK Corral.

The showdown occurred with Virgil, Morgan and Wyatt Earp and Doc Holliday being on one side and on the other side were Ike and Billy Clanton, Tom and Frank McLaury and Billy Claiborne. The OKCorral gunfight lasted about 30 seconds. When it was over, Frank and Tom McLaury and Billy Clanton lay dead and Ike had run from the fight. Morgan and Virgil were wounded and Doc had only a scratch. He seemed disappointed.

At the time, these key players had no idea that they had just been involved in what would become the most famous face to face gunfight in the history of the west. Over a hundred years later, it would still be a movie maker calling card.

The Arizona Gunfighters recreate this legendary confrontation with a professional costumed cast of over 30 gunfighters. And you are there – back in time – right along with the people who walk the streets of Tombstone.
